Poor performance?

Due to shenanigans under the hood on how Game Maker (Studio) used to work, all of my older projects (pre GMS2 basically) might run like hot garbage on updated Windows 10/11 systems. Fortunately, people who know stuff wrote a fancy .dll you can slide right into the game's executable directory, fixing the issue! Here's the link:

Games

Computer games I've made throughout the years. There's more, but no one would even want to see or play them (derivative, poorly-made, edgy takes on other companies' franchises are a no-no). They run in Windows only, and you have to download, unzip, and execute them. In chronological order, they are:

Just Go Down Bro

March 2024
On-and-off since spring 2023. Had to trim a lot of planned features (including changing the shitpost-tier temporary name) because of a complete crash in motivation, but I managed to finish something! Standard fare of going down and killing stuff along the way, grabbing some passive upgrades with each boss kill. What's at the bottom of Earth's abyss?

l i t l o o p

February 2023
After many (many, trust me) false starts, I figured joining a small gamejam with a relatively short deadline would allow me to focus for a bit and churn something out that could be considered complete. First shot at anything resembling a rhythm game, so that's… neat I guess?

Dream Cave

August 2020
Made for the Low Rez 2020 game jam. Little attempt at a Metroidvania. Shouldn't take you more than 10-15 minutes to beat and clear at 100%. At a non-zoomed-in resolution, the whole game map fits on your average computer screen.

h.4RP//e5

July 2020
It exists as an excuse to keep my mind busy during the fun times we were all enduring (and still are, sadly). Kick stuff off the screen and try not to get sick from the constant chromatic assault on your eyes.

Wandering Gem Jockeying

August 2019
Imbued with heavenly inspiration, I made the bold decision to make a difficult, instakill platformer with mostly ice physics into a fully-fledged game, price tag included. If you're in the segment of people who somehow enjoy IWBTG, feel free to reach out and I'll happily slide a key into your DMs pro bono.

Spess Gaem

April 2019
After a long gamedev drought, a collaborative project fizzled to dust, to add insult to injury. I was determined to make a small project in a week or so's worth of work. This is the result. The killscreen leftover after reaching a certain point is your reward for playing the game!
